The basic function of the Inspector is to oversee all aspects of quality throughout the shop.
Essential Job Functions:

Ensure that the necessary inspections are performed, including receiving, in process, and final inspections.
Prepare reports, disseminate information and keep records as needed.
Supervise quality of work being performed according to the provisions of appropriate policies and procedures.
Ensure that all inspection gages, tools, and equipment are maintained and calibrated according to standard procedures.
Immediately report quality problems or conditions that require management attention to designated managers.
Oversee all aspects of the quality system and report any breakdown to the quality manager.
Aid in training other employees in the use of inspection equipment and techniques.
Constantly strive to increase knowledge and efficiency in inspection techniques including cmm's.
Responsible for upkeep of quarantine area.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
